Erin Gallegos and Nando Mondragon are two best friends who grew up in West  Denver, Colorado. With a shared a love for Ice Cream,  as kids, they would often go around the city trying out different Ice Cream shops.

One summer day in 2017, while sitting on a park bench and enjoying a double scoop of their favorite Ice Cream, Erin and Nando had an idea. They wanted to create their own Ice Cream brand, one that would capture the essence of their childhood memories and the joy that comes with sharing a sweet treat with a friend.

Erin, who had graduated from the Art Institute Culinary program, knew that she had the skills to create unique and delicious flavors. Erin’s love for creating unique flavors inspired her to start testing out small batches.  Nando, on the other hand, is an Entrepreneur at heart and has experience in marketing and branding.

Together, they started Besties Ice Cream. They worked tirelessly to perfect their recipes, sourcing only the finest and freshest ingredients. They knew that the key to success was creating Ice Cream that was not only delicious but also made with quality ingredients that customers could trust.

The duo put in hard work to create a one-of-a-kind Ice Cream truck that would be the face of their brand. They spent countless hours designing the truck, making sure every detail was perfect. The result was the World Famous Besties Ice Cream Truck.

Erin and Nando took their truck to different parts of the city, spreading joy and delight with their unique and delicious flavors. From classic Vanilla and Chocolate to more adventurous flavors like Green Chile Caramel and Chocolate Covered Popcorn, their Ice Cream quickly became a hit in the city.

As their business grew, Erin and Nando continued to innovate and experiment with new flavors, and their reputation as the best Ice Cream makers in town continued to grow.

Today, Besties Ice Cream is a beloved brand in Denver, known for its high-quality ingredients, innovative flavors and impact on the community of Denver, and the joy that comes with sharing a sweet treat with a best friend. Erin and Nando continue to work together, creating new flavors and experiences that bring smiles to their customers' faces every day.
